Who ya’ callin’ Shrimp

Known in some parts as the roaches of the sea, Shrimp is dam tasty!  I’d take the X factor challenge with these crustaceans any day. Their even tastier when sautéed with cilantro, lemon & olive oil. This recipe is fresh and tasty but simple.


20 jumbo shrimp, peeled and deveined

6 lemons, juiced

2 cups chopped fresh cilantro

1/4 cup extra virgin olive oil

salt & pepper to taste

1 lemon, zested


In a bowl, toss shrimp with lemon juice olive oil and cilantro to coat.
Heat skillet over medium heat, stir in the shrimp and cook, stirring, 5 minutes, or until shrimp are opaque. Transfer to a serving bowl, drizzle with oil and lemon zest. Lastly, season with salt & pepper, and serve immediately.
